- May 21, 2013 USW Women's Leadership Course Yields Donations to Shade Tree in Henderson Lisa Duran and Laura Comeau from United Steelworkers Local 4856 presented Shade Tree Shelter in Henderson, NV., with a donation of $255 collected from from participants at the Women's Leadership Course held in Henderson, April 30 - May 3, 2013. In addition, they also delivered the toiletries that were collected.

After collecting donations for over a month, they met early in morning to pack over 200 extra-large bags until they almost overflowed with various items.
