On December 13 the United Steelworkers and Leo W. Gerard hosted the 6th Annual "An Evening With the Steelers" at McFaddins in Pittsburgh.

The event was held to benefit the National College Players Association (NCPA) and honored Steeler Legends: Cliff Stoudt, Mel Blount, L.C. Greenwood, Mike Wagner, Gerry "Moon" Mullins, John Banaszak, Ted Petersen, Marv Kellum, Tom Beasley, Donnie Shell, JT Thomas, Rick Druschel and Jeff Hartings.
