In this episode, Leslie Marshall talks with Holly Hart, Assistant to the President and United Steelworkers USW) Legislative Director about Social Security. Hart said that Republicans and Tea Party members are fostering hysteria about Social Security with false claims concerning the GDP and bankrupting the country.

Right now, Social Security has a surplus of 2.6 trillion dollars and, as Holly points out, “the Republicans and Wall Street can’t wait to get their hands on it.”
