Union Leaders Look Forward to Ending Walker’s Attacks on Workers

The United Steelworkers (USW) today congratulated the six Wisconsin Democrats who beat Republican-backed, so-called “Protest Democrats” in primary elections throughout the state in districts where Republican incumbents will face recall elections this summer.

“The people of Wisconsin took another major step toward reclaiming their government from the right-wing, anti-union and anti-worker special interests,” said USW International President Leo W. Gerard. “Scott Walker’s agenda now has an expiration date.”
