Leslie Marshall, from the The Leslie Marshall Show, talks with United Steelworkers (USW) President Leo W. Gerard about how Americans continue to nominate and vote for stupid people who are scamming them.

Marshall pointed out that GOP presidential candidate, Rick Perry wants to eliminate or change the U.S. Constitution in seven different areas and wants to undermine everything this country stands for.

“This is a guy, not many months ago,” said Gerard, “who was saying that Texas should succeed from the union and now, wants to lead the union? This guy is dangerous, very dangerous.”

Gerard went on to say, “This is the guy who said that Social Security and health care were unconstitutional.”

As their conversation continued, Marshall talked about the various constitutional changes being suggested and how these changes will affect “Joe and Jane Q Public.”  Jobs, taxes, court rulings, the right to vote and democracy itself were just a few of the issues mentioned.

“My real concern is we will spend too much time worrying about people like him (Perry) when the real issue in America is jobs and putting people back to work,” said Gerard.
