Labor is alive and well in Pittsburgh as thousands of steelworkers, union members, families and supporters turned out in the pouring rain. 

The weather didn't dampen the spirits of the participants who held hundreds of signs in support of the labor movement. "Stand Up/Fight Back", "America Wants to Work", "We Are One" and "Solidarity" were just a few to mention.

The Labor Day event in Pittsburgh has become a premier event in America for working families.
