Some 300 members of United Steelworkers (USW) Local 850 are preparing to celebrate a century of manufacturing in the Washington County communities of West Bend and Kewaskum. The workers proudly produce high quality American made, stainless-steel and cast aluminum cookware as well as stainless steel and aluminum coffee urns.
“The cooperative relationship that exists between the union members and the company has been very instrumental in achieving this century of success,” said USW Local 850 President Carol Vetter. “We look forward to the next 100 years.”
The “Celebration of a Century” will take place on September 24, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. under the tents at the Regal Ware Manufacturing grounds at 1200 Schmidt Road, West Bend WI.
