Leslie Marshall, from the The Leslie Marshall Show, talks with United Steelworkers (USW) President Leo W. Gerard about recent elections and the middle-class recognizing the radical ideas of Republicans and the Tea Party.
"It's really rather disgusting that you've got a lot of these Republican Governors now, trying to blame ordinary folks, working-class folks, for the economic mess we're in," said Gerard. "We've lost 58,000 factories to rotten trade deals, we've had Wall Street collapse out of greed and corruption, and they still go after the victims."
They talk about the Tea Party movement and the issues that were being pushing.
Gerard said, "The Tea Party was a front for big money. What they have managed to accomplish is a Supreme Court that has said, I think the only place in the world, where they have equated money with freedom of speech and said that corporations can give as much money as they want and they can do it undisclosed."
