Flickr

Create an account

1. Log on to www.flickr.com (or click flickr at the bottom right corner)
2. Click on “Create Your Account” in the top right corner
3. Click “Sign Up” in the right box (If you have a Yahoo! ID, you can sign in using that).
4. Type in your personal information and create a Yahoo! ID email. Type in security code and click the box below it to agree to the terms of service.
5. Click “Create My Account” at the bottom of the page.
6. Click “Continue” button on the right
7. Now you can type in your password and click “Sign In”
8. Choose the “Create a New Account” button on the left.

Now you have a Flickr account and you can begin uploading photos.

Uploading a Photo

1. After you sign into Flickr, click on “Upload Photos” button
2. Next, click “Choose photos”
3. Browse your computer until you find a photo and click open
4. Choose whether you want the photo to be public or private and click the “Upload Photos” button
5. You can click the “Description” button if you would like to add a description, title, or tags.
6. Your Done! Go have a cookie.

Sharing Your Photos with USW

1. Join the USW flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/photos/unitedsteelworkers and share your photos with us.

Or, to keep it simple, e-mail your photos to flickr@usw.org!
