Canadian Publications

The USW in Canada produces several print magazines, newsletters and booklets to inform members and local union executives of USW activities and initiatives. From time to time, we also issue unique publications on specific topics. All publications are also available online and from
our offices.

USW@Work

Our flagship publication, USW@Work, is the magazine for Steelworkers in Canada. We produce two bilingual (English and French) issues each year that are delivered directly to the homes of all our members and retirees across the country – our broadest circulation of a publication.

Le métallo

A magazine featuring news and updates from across District 5, Le métallo is distributed to the homes of all members of les Métallos in Quebec.

Traits d’union

With several issues a year, Traits d’union is a bulletin for activists of les Métallos in Quebec and has a circulation of 10,000. The newsletter includes a regular bargaining report and a calendar of events.

News@6

A regular publication of USW District 6 in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, News@6 provides news and information on bargaining, activism and USW locals contributing to community initiatives.

Steelworkers Humanity Fund publications

The Steelworkers Humanity Fund produces a regular bulletin of news on partner projects and an annual report. The Humanity Fund bulletin is distributed to USW local unions, Humanity Fund contributors and partners.

D3 Unite

D3 Unite is a semi-regular print and online publication that brings you the latest news from the district, including new bargaining agreements, organizing wins, legislative gains and changes and how they affect workers, equity, the environment and much more.
