District 13 Gets ‘Thank You’ from Striking Workers in Australia

Members of the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU) on strike in Australia traveled far to attend the AFL-CIO Martin Luther King Jr. Civil and Human Rights Conference in Houston in January.

There, District 13 pledged to help them in their fight against Exxon Mobile’s greed. We are proud to stand with our brothers even though we are miles apart, “It is time to Stand Up and Fight Back!”
