The weather may be cold and gloomy but members of United Steelworkers Local 7150 in Albany, OR, returned back from the Christmas break standing strong and wanting to resolve the lockout at ATI.

Specialty metals producer Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI) locked out 2,200 union members at 12 plants in six states Aug. 15 including about 180 workers at Local 7150.

ATI resumed talks with the United Steelworkers this week for the first time since September with a federal mediator at the Pittsburgh headquarters.
