United Steelworkers Become a Champion with the Jefferson Awards Foundation

On November 12, the United Steelworkers announced their partnership with the Jefferson Awards Foundation at our headquarters in Pittsburgh. The evening was focused on promoting and honoring public service by bringing people together at a “Community Service Summit.” Among the activities was a service project benefiting the Center for Hope where more than 500 bags of food for needy children were packed. The Jefferson Awards Foundation is our nation’s most prestigious nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and honoring service.
