Rick Smith Show Discusses Oil Worker Concerns with USW President of Local 12-591

Rick discusses the issues surrounding the unfair labor practice strike with oil workers with Steve Garey, president of United Steelworker Local 12-591 in Mount Vernon, Wash.

Steve also represents oil workers in the Western U.S.  on the rank-and- file Policy Committee, which provides advice and oversight to negotiators working to achieve the national pattern objectives of the oil contract.

He’s currently on strike with co-workers at the Tesoro refinery in Anacortes Wash.
