We Don’t Have to Choose

Don’t buy those tactics.  In that June 2 interview, Rep. Van Holland said, “We don’t have to choose between clean air and economic progress.”  And he’s right. 

Groups like the BlueGreen Alliance prove it.  The Alliance counts among its members a number of unions, including the International Association of Bricklayers, the Communications Workers of America, the Service Employees International Union, and the United Steelworkers (USW). 

The USW was even among the presenters at the Good JobsGreen Jobs conference recently held in Washington, D.C.

So don’t listen to the fearmongers; Rep. Van Holland is right.
