Thanks to your dedication and hard work, we successfully rallied 265 members of Congress to sign a letter urging the President to reinstate Gwynne Wilcox to complete her term on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). In just one week, over 6,000 letters were sent by Steelworker activists— your efforts made a critical impact!

What’s Next?

We see two possible paths forward:

  • The President could reinstate Member Wilcox to finish her term.
  • The courts could rule on Wilcox’s wrongful termination case, potentially leading to a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court on whether to reinstate her.

Why This Matters.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure a fully functioning NLRB. That means reinstating
Gwynne Wilcox and filling the other two vacant seats. Currently only having two
members, the Board is unable to make key decisions or enforce labor laws. That
means:

  • Workers facing unfair treatment—such as illegal firings, intimidation, or bad- faith bargaining—could be left waiting months or even years for justice.
  • Striking and organizing workers will have fewer legal protections.
  • Employers who break labor laws may go unpunished if cases can’t be heard.

Thank You! You made a real difference, and we must stay engaged to ensure the NLRB can do what it was designed to do—protect workers and their rights.
