Maicon Michel Vasconcelos da Silva

Maicon Michel Vasconcelos da Silva is on the Board of Directors of the ABC Metalworkers Union, and the representative of Mercedes-Benz workers in São Bernardo do Campo, where he has been working for more than three decades. In addition, he is secretary of International Relations of the National Confederation of Metalworkers of CUT. With 28 years of union militancy, Maicon has dedicated himself to the fight for workers’ rights.

Graduated in Social Sciences (Bachelor’s and Bachelor’s Degree), Maicon also has a postgraduate degree in Economics and Labor Relations. He currently has a Master’s degree in World Political Economy from the Federal University of ABC and finishing his doctorate in the same area, focusing on World Political Economy. He is a defender of social justice and transformations in the world of work.
