Rapid Response Info Alert: District 10 Lobby Day and Rally

We are excited to announce the upcoming District 10 Lobby Day and Rally scheduled for June 9 – 10, 2025. Lobby Day Prep will take place on Monday, June 9, at the Hilton Harrisburg. On Tuesday, June 10, we will head to the State Capitol to meet with legislators and elected officials. At 10:00 AM, we will hold a Press Conference, and at 11:00 AM a rally on the steps of the Capitol Rotunda, followed by a debriefing session before departure.

Whether you are a new Rapid Response activist or a seasoned one, a Next Genner looking to be
more involved, or a Woman of Steel, this event is for you! Click HERE for more

The District will arrange bus transportation specifically for Rally and Lobby Day activities on Tuesday morning. Buses will depart from both Pittsburgh (District 10 Office in Forest Hills) and Linwood, PA (USW LU 12698 Hall) for members who are not staying overnight in Harrisburg, contingent upon having enough sign-ups. The success of the labor movement depends on our ability to build power through activism. Legislative
engagement is one of the most effective ways to push back against anti-worker proposals and to advocate for legislation that will benefit our members, their families and retirees. Through one-on-one conversations with our elected officials, we will show our representatives that we are prepared to fight and protect the things that make the working class stable and strong.
