Congress has now passed a budget bill that working families cannot afford. The legislation adds $3.3 trillion to the national debt while slashing programs that keep our communities strong – cutting health care funding, rolling back investments in clean energy and advanced manufacturing jobs, and giving permanent tax breaks to corporations and the wealthiest Americans.

Meanwhile, working people are left with small, temporary tax relief that barely makes a dent in the rising costs families face every day.

This bill is a giveaway to the wealthy at the expense of the people who keep this country running.
