Logan Regional Medical Center Workers Vote to Join USW
The newly unionized workers at the 132-bed acute care facility in Logan, W. Va., include registered nurses, nursing assistants, patient care technicians, phlebotomists, pharmacy technicians, patient transporters, unit secretaries, and others.

USW Members Ratify Contract with Tecnocap after Weathering Numerous Violations of Federal Labor Law
The deal comes more than four years after the approximately 50 workers’ previous contract expired. In that time, Tecnocap committed serious violations of federal labor law, such that the NLRB went so far as to condemn the company as a repeat offender.
