District 12
District 12 of our union includes the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
Welcome to District 12 of the USW
The members in District 12 are part of one of the largest and most diverse districts in the union. They work to produce oil and gas just a few hundred miles from the North Pole in Alaska, and they mine and process copper in Arizona, just 200 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border. In between, they work as nurses in California, they make steel pipe in Colorado, and they clean up and safeguard the nation’s atomic legacy at sites in New Mexico and Washington.
