Welcome to District 4 of the USW
District 4 is among the most geographically diverse in the USW, including loggers from the woodlands of Maine, chemical workers along the Delaware River and electrical workers and journalists on the island of Puerto Rico. In between, from New England to New York and New Jersey, thousands of proud USW members in District 4 work in some of our union’s core industries. They make steel and chemicals, they work in the public sector, in hospitals and pharmaceutical factories, and they are on the cutting edge of emerging technologies like wind and solar power.
