The USW Health, Safety and Environment Conference will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pa., on May 17-22, 2026.

Registration is now open. Please review the following information to successfully register for the conference, reserve your hotel room, book other travel accommodations and more.
Registration
Online registration is open beginning Monday, Nov. 10, 2025 and will close on Friday, May 1, 2026. There will be an early-bird registration fee of $400, available through Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, after which the registration fee will increase to $450. Participants are urged to pre-register online by CLICKING HERE.
Note: To take advantage of the early-bird registration fee, all balances must be paid in full by Jan. 12, 2026. If there is a remaining account balance after Jan. 12, the registration fee will change to the normal fee of $450.

A block of rooms has been set aside at the hotels listed below. Rooms are limited, so please book early. The deadline for booking hotel room reservations is Friday, April 24, 2026. You can call the hotel directly or book online.
If you call directly, identify yourself as an attendee of the 2026 United Steelworkers Health, Safety and Environment Conference.
Note: All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. A one-night deposit is required. Hotel cancellations will be accepted 72 hours before the day of your arrival; if a cancellation is not made, the room charge and tax will be billed to the credit card on file. When calling Direct Travel, identify yourself as a participant in the 2026 United Steelworkers Health, Safety and Environment Conference.
Note: In accordance with our established policy, the International Union will not be responsible for the cost of delegate(s) participation. Your local union must bear any expenses for attendance, including airfare and hotel fees.
