We are pleased to announce the Annual District 1 Pig Roast & Camporee will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 through Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the HUGGY BEAR CAMPGROUND, 9065 RINGWALD ROAD, MIDDLE POINT, OHIO 45863.
The Pig Roast & Camporee has become one of the most popular events in the District. Food, games, bingo, hayrides, fishing derby for the kids and other activities are planned beginning Friday evening and all day on Saturday. Camping is available from 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26 until 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2025. Friday at 6:00 p.m. Homemade Chili & Hotdogs will be served; Saturday morning, beginning at 8:30 a.m., a pancake/sausage breakfast will be served. The Pig Roast / BBQ Chicken Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27th, 2025.

Enclosed with the Local Union President’s copy of this letter is a Complimentary Ticket for your local. Additional tickets may be purchased by using the enclosed order form. Tickets are $10.00 each or $30.00 per carload. Each vehicle entering the campground must have an admission ticket. Camping fees are paid directly to the campground. Area hotels are available for those not wishing to camp. A block of rooms has been established at the Microtel in Delphos, Ohio. Call (567) 765-1500 to make your hotel reservation. You must mention USW Camporee when booking rooms in order to get a special negotiated rate (see below).
