District 11 2020 Collective Bargaining Conference


In order to improve the collective bargaining efforts of our union, a Collective Bargaining Conference will be held January 21-23, 2020.

This conference is for all local unions whose contracts expire between April 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021. It will be the responsibility of each local to decide how many delegates to send, but it is strongly encourage, at a minimum, that the President or Unit President and the Grievance Chair of each affected contract participate. 

There will be a registration fee of $125 for each participant which includes the cost of all training materials and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday. All other costs such as lost time, hotel and travel expenses will be the responsibility of the local union.

Please complete the registration form and return it along with a check for the registration fee no later than December 27, 2019. Please note that registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will be capped at 120 total participants, so please register early.

Tuesday, January 21: Registration from 7:30-8:30 a.m. 

Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22: Conference (full days) 

Thursday, January 23: Conference (1 p.m. end time)

The training will conclude with a mock bargaining session and debrief on Thursday morning.
