Our brothers, sisters, and siblings from USW Locals 59M, 65T, and 700T have been on strike against Libbey Glass since August 22. The company is attacking our most basic rights, by among other things, seeking a sweeping set of management rights, restricting union representatives from advocating for our members, and eliminating working jurisdictions.
In 2020, our members made huge financial sacrifices to keep Libbey Glass out of bankruptcy. Now, instead of respect, Libbey demands we give up premium pay, seniority, and our union rights. We say NO. We fight back for ourselves and for every union member facing greedy corporate attacks.
If Libbey gets away with this, every company will think they can do the same. That’s why we need YOU to stand with these Steelworkers in solidarity. Libbey Glass is attending the national “Glass Problems” Conference in Toledo – and we’re going to show them their biggest problem is the USW!
When:
Tuesday, October 7th
8:00 AM
Where:
Promenade Park
400 Water St
Toledo, OH 43604
We’ll be marching to Glass City Center for the rally.
Bring your Local. Bring your voice. Bring your solidarity.
Because an injury to one is an injury to all.
