USW Industries and Work Places

We slurry and smelt aluminum. We make glass and mine metals of many kinds. We produce paper and paper products. And we’re on the cutting edge of clean energy technology.

We provide high-quality health care, and we help educate the next generation. We manufacture tires, cement and the steel that goes into buildings, homes, bridges and automobiles. Our work is everywhere.

In banks, universities, oil refineries, utility companies, chemical plants and beyond, USW members provide the goods and services that make our communities strong. Learn more about the industries we’re in below.
