    Through both ferrous and nonferrous mining, USW members supply industries with the raw materials they need to produce high-quality finished goods. These include iron ore, copper, nickel and other metals, as well as non-metals like gypsum, salt and soda ash. We’re proud to promote responsible mining practices across our industries, especially as clean energy technology continues to require more mined materials.

    It’s important that we start supplying ourselves. There is no reason that our money should go anywhere else.
