District 5, Local 9421
We manufacture small and medium-caliber ammunition, which is quite special.
Given the current economic context and everything that’s happening, we told ourselves we need to be present, we need to be represented. We figured if there’s one international convention we must attend, it’s this one! Plus, resolutions from our last District 5 conference are being brought to this international convention, and we thought it would be necessary to be here to support them.
What makes me proud of my union are events like the one we are experiencing right now. Seeing everyone gathered, united—I see a union that’s very close to its people. This is exactly what I’ve experienced over the last few years, while I became increasingly involved in the union. I’m proud of all of this.
“All In On Solidarity” means for me being present, being united, everyone being there, as we see here today.
