What does the Convention theme “All In” mean to you? 

The theme means a lot to me. It means we’re going to be on a better path of unity and solidarity. 

What is your favorite thing about your job or your union work? 

Fighting for people. 

Why is Convention so important? 

As president of my local, I love being able to send members here to learn about what we do and to experience the camaraderie. That’s really important to me. 

What makes you proud to be in a union? 

I’m proud to look back at when my local was locked out in 2013 for two years. When we got our jobs back, that was the best moment in my 30 years in the union. That makes me proud.
