This is my first Convention both as a delegate and committee member. I’m very excited.
With the uncertainty of our future, we have to leave here with a sense of unity, purpose and strength because for me, personally, I think it’s pretty evident that organized labor is under attack.
Every single one of our committees is completely full and active. It may sound cliche, but we are the definition of solidarity, and I’m honored to serve as president.
“All In” for me is what it takes for all of us to succeed. You need involvement from your membership, because the work has to be done by the rank and file. That means every dues-paying member is invested and engaged—we all have responsibility.
Are you and your coworkers ready to negotiate together for bigger paychecks, stronger benefits and better lives?
