UnionHall: Websites for U.S. and Canadian Locals
UnionHall is an internet-based system that allows local unions without advanced technical skills to maintain websites.
- Websites are available one-per-local or SOAR chapter in good standing.
- Local unions' "webmasters" must attend a minimum of two (2) hours of basic online training in order to receive website admin privileges.
- The USW's New Media and IT departments will support setting up your UnionHall site, basic trouble-shooting, and help with obtaining custom URLs
- Local Union "webmasters' are subscribed to an email list of system updates, training opportunities, content ideas and more.

Once you have registered, an email will be sent to the person who submitted the registration. It will contain the information that was submitted and an attachment.
The information in the email needs to be printed out, signed by the appropriate people and marked with the Local Union seal. The attachment should be printed out and the last of this document must be signed by your Local Union President (or their designee) and witnessed by another union official. It will also require the name and contact information of the local's web administrator or webmaster.
