The Jefferson Awards Foundation is the country’s longest standing and most prestigious organization dedicated to activating and celebrating public service.
For many Steelworkers, lending a helping hand is part of being a member of our union. Outside of work, our members are known for their quiet generosity in their neighborhoods.
An unlimited number of people may be nominated from each district. One (1) person from each of the 13 districts will be chosen for a regional award.
Do you want to nominate a volunteer who isn’t a union member? If so, the Jefferson Awards Foundation has several other programs that can allow you to recognize outstanding service.
Maybe you still have questions or concerns? Maybe you need to talk to someone about the program? This section can help you out.
