District 1 Announces its Annual Educational Program

District 1 is again offering an annual educational program to local union participants at Linden Hall in Dawson, Pennsylvania.   As always we expect the program to be demanding, worthwhile and stimulating.  The following subjects will be offered this year:

• Introduction to Steward’s Training (proper filing)
• Grievance Handling and Arbitration
• Issues in Bargaining
• Rapid Response and Legislative Issues
• Effective Health and Safety Committees (investigation)
• Officer Training and Effective Administration of Local Unions
• Organizing – Roles and Purpose

There will be many interesting instructors this year including our own Sub-Directors, Staff and International Headquarter employees.
