Progressive talk show host Leslie Marshall and USW International Vice President of Human Affairs Fred Redmond discuss the problem of growing income inequality and wealth disparity in the United States.
They talked about how President Obama needs to address this issue in his State of the Union Address and the problems caused when less than 10% of wage earners take home 80% of the wealth.
They also discuss how the very rich and large corporations exercise their power to control government and the nation’s wealth, leaving Unions as one of the last vehicles advocating for working families and combating corporate greed.
