International Solidarity Shown to USW Local 235A Members at Sherwin Alumina Plant

Locked out members of USW Local 235A received international support from British, African and Australian workers who walked the picket line with them today. The 450 Steelworkers who work at Sherwin Alumina in Gregory, Texas were illegally locked out on October 11, 2014.

Since that date, Sherwin Alumina’s temporary replacement work force is apparently working more hours and producing less alumina.
