Over the past year, thousands of you called and wrote your legislators to stand up for the collective bargaining rights of federal workers. Now, your efforts are paying off – and we need your help again.

As a reminder: on March 27, the President signed an executive order that eliminates collective bargaining rights for nearly a million federal workers. This order represents the largest union-busting attempt in the history of the federal government.

In response, Representatives Jared Golden (D-ME-02) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA-01) introduced H.R. 2550, the bipartisan Protect America’s Workforce Act, to reverse it.

Because of the pressure from working people and allies across the country, we’ve secured signatures from both parties needed on a discharge petition to force a vote on H.R. 2550 within the next few weeks. Your voices helped make this happen – and now we must keep up the momentum as the bill heads to the House floor.
