In May, we asked for your help to fight against the Administration’s executive order that would strip collective bargaining rights from hundreds of thousands of federal workers. Thanks to your hard work and backing, we now have the bipartisan votes in Congress to reverse that order!

Despite the majority support to restore the right to collectively bargain, the legislation still has not reached the floor. We are asking you to turn up the pressure and call on every House member to stand with working families and sign a discharge petition to help bring H.R. 2550, The Protect America’s Workforce Act, to the floor for a vote.

A discharge petition is a procedural tool used by lawmakers to bypass barriers or committee chairs who are blocking legislation and force the stalled bill forward.

This executive order is the biggest piece of union-busting in decades, jeopardizing labor contracts and protections for millions of hardworking Americans. We can’t let it stand.

The Protect America’s Workforce Act is a bipartisan bill that restores the rights of the workers who keep our hospitals running, make sure our food is safe, and uphold public safety nationwide.
