USW Cares: Local 6787 Volunteers Help United Way Day of Caring in Porter County

United Steelworkers Local 6787 Day of Caring Team worked with South Haven Boys and girls Club Director, Ron Ranta on projects to fix up the club before the beginning of another school year. Projects included landscaping, interior painting of the facility, electric repairs and minor HVAC maintenance.

This annual event celebrates volunteerism throughout Northwest Indiana by bringing together teams from local businesses, municipalities, churches and civic groups to complete projects and make significant impact on the non-profit community.
