USW/Goodyear Policy Committee Begin Planning for 2017 Negotiations

The USW/Goodyear Policy Committee met in Gadsden, Alabama in early March to discuss items of importance for the next negotiations which will be conducted in the summer of 2017. The Committee plans to visit each of the 5 Goodyear Master Plants prior to negotiations.  

They visited United Steelworker Local 307L and the Topeka plant in October of last year.

On March 7, they met with the Officers, Executive Board and Stewards of USW Local 12L to discuss general policy items and specific issues to Local 12L and the Gadsden Plant. They had the opportunity to tour the plant and talk to members on the floor before discussing final agenda Committee items. 

The Committee intends to visit USW Local 831L in Danville, VA in June 2016; USW Local 2L in Akron, OH in August 2016 and USW Local 959L in March 2017.
