Report on the CBTU Afro-Colombian Accompaniment Mission to Colombia
From October 1 through October 6, 2015, the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU), along with Congressman Hank Johnson (D), traveled throughout Colombia to investigate Colombia’s compliance with its obligations to improve labor conditions under the Labor Action Plan (LAP) and to specifically investigate the treatment of Afro-Colombian workers in Colombia. Dan Kovalik, attorney for the USW, was part of this delegation. The attached report contains this delegations findings, conclusions and recommendations.
