USW Cares: USW Members Helping Locked Out Members at Christmas

In early December, United Steelworkers Local Union 11-164 President Kurt Hileman delivered a donation to workers at USW Local 7-669 in Metropolis, Illinois. Honeywell locked out nearly 150 members from their jobs on August 1, 2014.

Christmas can be a tough time of year even for people who are working so when donation of $14,800 collected by the members of Local 11-164 arrived, Honeywell workers were astounded. They even brought t-shirts for the 11-164 members.
