Local 9777 Bargaining Update #3: Atkore Harvey needs to get serious about bargaining our contract

Our Bargaining Committee met all day Tuesday with the Company. Sub-Director Alfano and Director Millsap were there to assist with the negotiations.

We rejected the vast majority of the Company’s 70 pages of proposals, asked questions, and made requests for information on some of the proposals to better understand them.

Our committee told the Company that because they made so many proposals we do not know what is real and what is bullshit.

The Company needs to tell us what proposals they are serious about, otherwise we will be forced to ask questions and deny their proposals. We told them that if they continue to bargain in this manner this will be a very long and a very frustrating bargaining.

We meet back with the Company on May 28th and 31st.
