Our union today welcomed Vice President Kamala Harris’ call for U.S. Steel to remain domestically owned and operated. Over the past three-and-a-half years, the Biden-Harris administration has demonstrated unwavering commitment to advancing American manufacturing. Harris’ comments today make it clear that she understands the crucial role of the steel industry, not only when it comes to safeguarding our national security, but also to ensuring a brighter future for the workers and communities that depend on good, union jobs.
